Dew Point Calculator
Find the dew point — the humidity number that predicts comfort.
Dew point
20.8°C
69°F — Muggy
Comfort rule
Above 18°C (65°F) feels humid to most people
The better humidity number
Relative humidity swings with temperature, but dew point — the temperature where air saturates — directly tracks how much moisture is present. A 16°C dew point feels fine at any air temperature; 22°C feels tropical everywhere. Meteorologists quote it for exactly that stability.
Condensation's threshold
Surfaces cooler than the dew point collect water: morning grass, bathroom mirrors, cold pipes in summer. Keeping indoor surfaces above the dew point (or indoor dew point low via ventilation and AC) is the entire science of preventing damp and mold.
